The Wheekly Reader is dedicated to providing quality news and information to cavy fanciers throughout the U.S. It recognizes a broad community interested in the care and keeping of guinea pigs, and strives to serve the needs of the individuals who comprise that community — be they young adults acquiring their first pet, or veteran master breeders recognized by the ACBA.

Your Guide

Emma founded Legacy Caviary in 2008, and has raised peruvians and peruvian satins for show ever since. She loves cavies, the cavy community, and all the positive things the fancy entails.

Emma also loves all things writing, and works as a journalist in Utah. She is the author of two books — none cavy related, yet — and spends most of her time writing or grooming her guinea pigs. She dabbles in vegetarian cooking, and frequently spoils her furbabies with fresh leftover produce.
